My Name is
Deniele Hayford
and I make my home in East Alstead, New Hampshire. I grew up
Middlebury, Vermont and lived much of my adult life in Burlington,
Vermont.
 From
the time I was about 17 when my mother gave me my first Brownie camera
I have enjoyed taking photos. Seems to me it’s a lot about wanting to
“keep” a moment in time, be it a person or place or maybe a flower. I
really got excited about photography when I discovered zoom lenses and
filters. The ability to crop a photo as it is being taken defines the
desired end result; the proper filter can enhance the contrast or
color. As time went on I used every opportunity to improve my
skills by taking classes and learning from experience. When I traveled
or my kids played soccer, danced or played in the swimming pool, I
would be working the camera to capture an image that would have impact
and stand the test of time.
With the advent of digital photographic equipment, I started to see
that I could maintain complete control; from the minute I choose an
image and take the photo to the final print. This opened new doors of
potential and challenge for me.
My goals have expanded as I strive to produce a piece of art to be
enjoyed by many.
